In their last group match in the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Pakistan gave Scotland a 190-run target to win.
Pakistan scored 189 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs thanks to the brilliant batting of captain Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik.
Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik scored 63 and 54 runs respectively. Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat against Scotland.
The Pakistan team did not make any changes in the fifth match in a row.

Gail broke the record by scoring the fifth run in the innings against Scotland.
When the total score of Pakistan team reached 59 runs, Fakhr Zaman was caught for 8 runs off 13 balls.
After losing 2 wickets, Mohammad Hafeez and captain Babar Azam formed a partnership of 53 runs but on a total score of 112, Mohammad Hafeez was dismissed for 31 runs.
It should be noted that Pakistan and New Zealand have already reached the semi-finals before Group 2.
According to the World Cup schedule, the first semi-final will be played on November 10 at 7 pm in Abu Dhabi while the second match will be played on November 11 at 7 pm in Dubai.
Depending on the format of the tournament, the first-placed team of Group 1 will play a semi-final match against the second-ranked team of Group 2, and the first-placed team of Group 2 will compete with the second-ranked team of Group 1.
However, Pakistan can top the Group 2 by beating Scotland in their last group match, after which they will face Australia in the semi-finals on November 11.
